RTI and Transgender Rights Activist

A law that criminalised her community is no longer on the books.

Vyjayanti Vasanta Mogli is a transgender rights and RTI activist, singer and public policy graduate of TISS Hyderabad, and a founding member of the Telangana Hijra Intersex Transgender Samiti. She was one of the petitioners in the challenge that led the Telangana High Court to strike down the Telangana Eunuchs Act as unconstitutional in July 2023. She serves on the Justice Asha Menon Advisory Committee constituted by the Supreme Court in Jane Kaushik vs Union of India (W.P. No. 1405 of 2023).

He is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from eCornell University, USA, and is associated with the Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, affiliated with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
