Founded in 1984 as a conference on Technology, Entertainment, and Design, TED now covers every topic that shapes our world—from science and innovation to culture and humanity. Through short, impactful talks, TED aims to ignite curiosity, inspire change, and promote ideas worth spreading.
TEDx is a grassroots initiative created in the spirit of TED’s mission. It brings the TED experience to local communities through independently organized events. At TEDx events, speakers and performers share unique perspectives, original ideas, and transformative stories—sparking meaningful conversations and connections. While TED provides the guidelines, each TEDx event is self-organized with a local vision.
TEDxKPRIT is a student-driven initiative hosted by Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology, dedicated to amplifying voices, ideas, and innovations within our campus and beyond. Rooted in the TED ethos, TEDxKPRIT aims to create a platform where thought leaders, change-makers, and inspiring individuals come together to share insights that challenge, inspire, and empower. Through this event, we strive to foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and collective growth in our academic community.
